Mission

Our mission is to support yachts with limited resources, and enable them to achieve the highest standards possible, whilst remaining compliant with hours of rest regulations.

Safe 2 Sea can assist your vessel and crew with any of your technical requirements. Our services range from diagnosing faults, to planning and executing maintenance periods.

Whatever your technical support needs may be, we can offer a bespoke service that works for you.

Vision

Safe 2 Sea has intimate knowledge of the demands placed on the crew of all sizes of vessel. The requirements may be no less on a 30 metre yacht, than on a vessel three times the size.

With little to no support from management companies and only a fraction of the resources available to achieve the same standards, we aim to offer the technical support you need, without judgement.

Solution

Administrations are clamping down on HOR violations in yachting, yachts with smaller crews have always struggled to reduce working hours, and can be forced to choose between guest services and the safety of the vessel.

To assist in remaining compliant with MLC hours of rest regulations, whilst continuing to meet guest/owners requirements, Safe 2 Sea will supply an experienced technical manager and chief engineer to take some of the burden wherever you see fit, and ensure the yacht remains safe for both the crew and guests.

A monthly contract will not only free up time on board for essential operations, but will also save the owner money by reducing the need to use expensive local and OEM contractors to carry out work that could be done by crew if given the time.

An additional benefit to a long term contract, is having one point of contact for all technical support needs, who will retain the knowledge regardless of crew turnover, and even assist in training new crew as they arrive.
